Caution: baby snatchers

We have some visitors in this Rock of ours.
Keane's dad, sister and niece came from Boulder to stay with us for a few days. We currently have a very full house with 4.25 people and two (big) dogs crammed into a one bedroom apartment.
Boy are we are cozy!

So far, we've shown our guests a good time by taking them to dinner, listening to blue grass in the park, playing by the pool, going for evening strolls, and eating ice cream.

Lily has enjoyed sitting on Uncle Keane's lap while I dote on her fat cheeks. Mmmm babies are even more delicious when their cheeks are fat, aren't they?

As you can see, she had a terrible time at this particular dinner. Just awful. Hated every minute of that torture.

One evening, we watched a storm blow in from the safety of our patio. The clouds were beautiful and the rainbow was a treat.

Uncle Keane practiced a Lion King reenactment, singing Circle of Life while offering up Simba (played by Lily).

Then Lily decided she didn't care to play that role any longer.

So we ate ice cream (frozen yogurt for me, thankyouverymuch, and can we talk about that CARTON which was consumed by one solitary man? Not a joke.)

Then Keane wore a baby because real men wear babies

and we strolled; baby, dogs and guests in tow.

We love our guests and are thrilled to have them.
Can't wait to see what kind of fun our next couple of days will hold. My guess is it will involve a trip to Home Depot, snatching this baby from her mother and keeping her as our own, and maybe Bed Bath and Beyond. I don't know, I don't know if we'll have enough time.

xoxo
