This land is your land, this land is my land

I hope all ye fellow Americans had a wonderful Fourth of July. Our day felt like a delightful dreamland complete with a neighborhood parade, live Bluegrass in the park and a 100 foot ice cream sundae.

I pinched myself a few times yesterday just to make sure this sweet life of mine was real. I am so grateful for our awesome community full of good, good people and for the liberties this country affords us all.

Here are a few photos from our day!

*We had high hopes of watching fireworks from the park but chickened out at the last minute and left. We were afraid the earmuffs just wouldn't cut it.  Didn't want to hurt those precious little ears!
