In my continued quest to find the ugliest clothing at thrift stores and turn them in to wearable pieces to add to my wardrobe, I came across this.
I know.
The nineties called, they want their frumpy, high-waisted neon back. Lucky for me, high waists and neon are in style again– the only thing it needed was a little face lift.
After shelling out the big bucks ($4), I snipped and hemmed my way to this.
Ahhh, much better. Now my legs can breathe and I no longer look like a quaker.
I can't wait to wear my new-to-me neon mini in Hawaii next month!
Seriously people. Start rummaging your local thrift stores. You never know what 90's gems await in need of a little lovin hemming.
Love it! Great job lady!
