Friday was our Daphne's 4th birthday. Her papa surprised her with some prizes when he arrived home from work. Cash got a little something too because we try to be fair parents.
Later that night we went to our favorite burger spot with our favorite couple, Jon and Kendal. We had good beer, amazing food, and a lot of laughs. I will miss them more than they know.
Saturday, Keane and I spent the day packing up most of our stuff. In the evening, we headed to his parent's house for a BBQ with our families. With 85 degree weather, we played on the trampoline with our nephew and ran around with the doggies. We ate yummy food and said "goodbye for now" to our families.
On Sunday, the weather changed dramatically and we ended up packing up our Uhaul in the wind and snow. Keane's wonderful grandma offered to house the majority of our belongings while we are away so we headed to Littleton in whiteout conditions to store our things.
Later, our friends, Karis and Joe, hosted a going-away party for us. I forgot to take any pictures at this soiree but we had an amazing time and felt extremely loved and supported by everyone. There were even a few tears shed as we all said goodbye.
Keane and I are so fortunate to have such wonderful people in our lives. We are sad to say goodbye but know that our time in Wyoming will go fast and we will be reunited before we know it.
